Delivered to your home, Warble & Wonder Box is the perfect way to get your little ones enthusiastically engaged in learning about music and spark their passion for the creatures, plants and ecosystems around us: A fun-packed subscription activity box equipped with all you need for 3-9 year old music and nature lovers to delight in celebrating the seasons as the cycle of the year spins around.
Compiled by Holly Ebony, children's song writer and facilitator of Wild Birds Singing family nature play groups, Warble & Wonder is inspired by deep ecology, founded in an awed attentiveness and rooted relationship with nature and imbued with positive messages about our connection with all life.
Throughout the cycle of the year, the 8 boxes will arrive at 6 or 7 week intervals to coincide with the traditional Celtic seasonal festivals:
Imbolc - February 1st
Ostara (Spring equinox) - March 21st
Beltane - May 1st
Litha (summer solstice) - June 21st
Lughnasadh - August 1st
Mabon (Autumn equinox) - September 21st
Samhain - October 31st
Yule (winter solstice)- December 21st
Each box contains:
- Materials and instructions for two making activities.
- Lyrics and sheet music to 2 songs.
- 2 songs (sent as an MP3 via email).
- Play sheet activity.
- Facinating nature factsheet.
- Child friendly music theory learning.
Contents are plastic-free, and recyclable wherever possible and seeds are organic.
