Singing The Spiral-Vocalising The Work That Reconnects
Singing The Spiral is a journey through The Work That Reconnects through voice play facilitated by Holly Ebony.
Joanna Macy's profoundly impacting body of facilitation work, The Work That Reconnects has been accumulated and sculpted during her forty year career as an environmental activist, thinker and teacher.
Singing The Spiral will draw on exercises from this body of work, combined with voice play, singing and nature connection practices to generate embodied presence, depth of perspective and connection to all life.
The intention of this weekend workshop is to generate a rich seam of resource to support us though the planetary crisis in which we find ourselves.
Through a curated cauldron of songs chosen to connect us to the Spiral of The Work That Reconnects linking gratitude; honouring our pain for the world; seeing with new eyes and going forth; we will journey through the spiral delving deeply into our shared experience of living as human beings of 2020 as part of Earth.
“To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe - to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it - is a wonder beyond words.”
